Who They Are
Infinitum is redefining the electric motor for a more sustainable future. Their patented Aircore EC motor system replaces the traditional iron core with a lightweight printed circuit board (PCB) stator—resulting in motors that are smaller, quieter, and significantly more energy-efficient. Designed for long-term performance, the system supports circularity through its modular, serviceable architecture, helping reduce both operational carbon and material waste.
What They Do
The Aircore EC motor enables data centers to cut cooling energy use by up to 20% while maintaining high efficiency across a wide range of operating speeds. By integrating active front-end controls, the system reduces electrical harmonics and supports cleaner, more stable power distribution. Its compact form factor and superior efficiency allow data centers to right size cooling systems and free up electrical capacity for emerging, high-density workloads.
Sustainability Impact
Infinitum’s motor system avoids an estimated 9 metric tons of CO₂ over the life of each motor compared to conventional designs. Its modular, repairable components extend product life and reduce landfill waste, while its high-efficiency performance improves cooling energy intensity across the facility.
